The first Gilbert Laffaille album to be produced on CD, with arrangements by Jean-Marc Benaïs. The French showed little interest in this typical eighties production, with electric and synthetic colours. However, Travelling was a great success in Japan where it was published by Sony and was one of the main reasons the artist toured Japan in 1990. This disk not only has the original versions of some of Gilbert Laffaille's most beautiful songs Neige, Le vieux théâtre, Tout m’étonne…but also some surprising funky compositions C.Q.F.D., Zapping Blues, as well as a little Caribbean influence Toulé Poulé.
